Need help with getting Shogo to run properly

Posted this in the tech support forums earlier. Seems like a better fit here. Thanks to all that can help.

Recently picked up a copy of Shogo. Yes I know, old game, but damn cool. Anyway, when I use the hardware rendering all text is invisible. Menu options, screens in the game itself ectera. I'm running Win2K, with the compatibility update. Geforce 2MX, tried newest drivers and still no go. Updated Shogo to the last newest version out and still no go. Ran it in NT & 95 compatibility layer and still no go. Anyone have any ideas on how to get the text to display? It works just fine in software rendering, but it looks like crap and is slow as dirt.

There are a number of settings in the setup that you can try. Just try them 1 at a time.

make sure v-sync is turned off. use riva tuner or such to do this and it should work.
