Need help with getting out of sleep

I built a new PC for myself with a P5K Deluxe, 2GB Crucial Ballistix, E6400, eVGA 7900GS, and Vista Home Premium and so far it has been working out great. However, occasionally, if I let the the computer sleep or go idle for a long time, it won't let me restart normally. I move the mouse or press the keyboard and everything seems to start up including the fans, power LED on the case, and the lights on the keyboard but I get no video at all and possibly and it is totally unresponsive. Does anyone happen to know what is going on?
 
No, but make sure you have all the windows updates, latest drivers for your perif's and if it keeps happening, disable the sleep function in power mgmt in control panel.
