Need help with fan!!!

I have a Thermal take Soicket a fan on a TB 800, on an Asus a7v mb,
and its really loud, i mean LOUD like an old refrigerator!!! Its not a supa dupa big ass coller either! My procesor is always at bout 50. Is it a bad fan or can i do something to it?
