Need Help with Fan Problem!

I have a Lian Li P60 case and after connecting the 2 front case fans (in front of the disk-drive cage) to the MB's fan-header, they aren't running!

Background: I just replaced my MB and I connected the single 3-pin connector from those 2-fans to the fan-header on the board (they worked fine connected that way with my old board). The other case-fans are running ok, so I'm baffled... 😱

I have an old PC-60. Mine does not have a fan speed control behind the front panel.
Does your's?? Might just be a loose connection at the controller.
Those are two wire ADDAs with a gold label on the back, are they not? If they are there is no
tach wire so that should not present a problem, ie, two sensor wires going to one pick-up.

Hey! Did you test the board's fan jack with a DMM to see if it's hot, might just be a dead
board jack. If you don't have a DMM, plug a single known good fan into it.

Thanks for the reply. I don't know if I have a fan speed control on those front fans, what does it look like?

Btw, when it didn't work, one of the first things I did was to test the header with a meter and the voltage seems ok.

PS. You are correct about them being ADDA gold label fans.

My PC-60 doesn't have a fan controller. iirc it has three settings. Pop off the front panel and
see if it's there. I've only seen pics of it at Lian Li's site.

Just a guess about a bad connection at the controller, if you have one.

This just crossed my mind, do the board fan headers requior a tach feed from the fan inorder
to provide power? What does the motherboard manual have to say?

Wish I could be of more help.
