Need your help with buying 2 things.

I need earbuds for working out. The ones I have got a short in them so I tossed them.

I like the ones that loop over the ear but not required. I have no idea what to get.

More importantly I need some new headphones for my computer. I have Sennheiser HD 212Pro's now and they are good but there is a crack in them and they are getting worn.

Seen a lot of recommendations for these...

Koss Pro-4AA

Sony MDR-V6

Do I need an amp to power headphones like these? Or should I look elsewhere? I had an Audigy 2 but pulled it cause of issues in vista x64. Using Realtek HD 8 Channel Integrated sound now

I don't know a lot about sound stuff so any help will be much appreciated.

A headphone amp is recommended, but not necessary.
The MDR-V6s are inexpensive, collapsible, nicely made out of metal, and almost completely indestructible by normal means. However, many people (myself included) don't like how they sound. For what it's worth, these work brilliantly for gaming.

The SR60s have a huge mid-treble boost. Some people love it. I find it unpleasant. Also, these headphones have effectively nil noise isolation.

The 4AAs I've not tried, but who knows? If you head over to HeadFi there's almost always a "$60 headphone of the month" that you can expect to be a pretty good deal - and there's a good chance you can pick up last month's headphone used for $30.
