i've posted this before but still havent found a solution.

im trying to make a continuous rip with eac and lame.dll.

for some reason, the ripped mp3 plays for a few minutes and then stops, silence.

is there another program that does continuous rips?

system is not overclocked.

You could try CDEX. It comes with the LAME .dll also, and is a pretty good ripper. Or you could try using the LAME .exe version with EAC (or CDEX).

for me, rather than just use the lame.dll, i use winlame32, a windows frontend for the program. it only adds a few more seconds for me to fire up the winlame prog, select the .wavs i want to convert, and click encode. it might work for u, i know i also had problems with EAC and the lame.dll. so now i just use EAC standalone and winlame32.
