My coolermaster fan on my epox 8kha+ is on its last leg. It is making an unbelievable amount of noise. Over the last two years I have had to take it out twice and oil it. Seems to last a hwile but I think I just want another one. Where can I find the correct size? Should I get coolermaster or some other name brand?

any fan of the samesize will do. stores like svc/newegg/directron etc should have small fans. if it doesn't fit perfect and u geta bigger size, glue works :p most of those fans are for show anyways

Sunon makes a great 40mm ball bearing fan. I found mine at Fry's Electronics but I'm sure you can find it someplace else.

Thanks 0Roo. How can I find out the size without removing it? I looked on neweggs site but didn't see any smaller coolermaster fans. Most were 80mm. I'll check svc.

Don't worry about it. My Dad's PC has the same motherboard and I just took the dead fan off of it and it's working fine.

It uses a 40mm fan. Epox will send you a new one for free if you call/email them.
