Need help with DVD player(sorry if its in the wrong forum)

Okay, my friend was messing around with my DVD player. He was trying to use these cables or whatever so the picture would be better on my HD TV. Anyway, he was messing with the remote and all of a sudden, he changed something and now I get no picture, only sound. I dont know what he was doing exactly, but he changed something by accident and now I get no picture, but the sound is there. Please help, its a Toshiba DVD player model SD-3980SU2.
