need help with dvd burning

i need to convert a dvd movie on my dvd disk to an avi format thats is a smaller file becuase my dvd-r dont support Dual Layer any progs?
 
Just use DVD Shrink to compress the movie to 4.37GB or 4480MB in DVD Shrink. Converting to AVI will degrade the quality dramatically.

yeh baked you are popping all over teh forums.

hmm convert dvd movie to avi format to make smaller...
use dvdshrink to shrink the movie and back it up.
Wouldn't recommend changing it to avi since you have the actual dvd. but if you dl it i gues you have no choice.
