Need help with design techniques in photoshop.

The area I am most concerned about is in global griding techniques. I want to make a 3 dimensional globe with the latitude and longitude lines. Any ideas?

Use paths or try spherizing a grid or using the new 3d transform stuff in 6...otherwise, I'd recommend getting some good clipart or stock photos and editing those as necessary...i'm sure there're good free ones available (nasa, for instance, not to mention giveaways from stock photo houses).
