I have a DELL motherboard, and it has a little AT powersupply connector on it, but just half of one, it also has an ATX connector, so I plugged in my ATX powersupply into it, and it dosen't boot. I'm pretty sure its beacause of that AT connector. It's "half" of an AT connector, because you know how AT connectors have 2 diffrent plugs, this is just 1 plug. Thanks for any help.

it provides additional power to the mother board, you will need to connect some sort of power to it. Mayb eyou can fashion you own.

dell boards don't use an atx power connector. it looks like an atx connector but the pins are in a different order.
