Need help with Crossfire Setup

When I have the X1900 Crossfire card in my computer it will not post. I installed it in the first slot as both the ATI and MSI manuals said to (I am using an MSI MS-7246 V2 Motherboard (Intel 975 Chipset with Crossfire support). It will not post when mastering a X1900XTX or By its own. I have an Antec NeoHE 480 Modular Powersupply as well as a FSP Booster X3 Crossfire supported PSU for video cards. I have attempted to use power from both power supplies to power the crossfire card. A Green light does come on on the card, but I never get anything to my monitor.

Anyone have any ideas?

And do you know if a crossfire card can be run on it's own for testing purposes?

yes it works by itself. If it still won't post (don't use the dongle yet) your card is DOA

Thanks for that info, will try it on one of my other non-crossfire pci-e capable motherboards to see if it works there.

Welp, I believe it to be dead. Just tried 2 other PCIe motherboards (ATI non-crossfire chipset, and the ole Asrock 939Dual-Sata2), and got no video from either.

Were did you buy it from?
If you bought it from Newegg just RMA it with them and it'll save you the time of doing it through the manufacturer.
