This is what happened to my laptop Compaq Presario 1235, series CM2000.
A few days ago when I started it up, the screen disappeared or became blank, until I adjusted it forward somewhat by moving it on the hinges, then the screen reappeared. If the screen fell backward again, it disappeared again. But I was able to use the computer that day and closed it as normal. The next day, I entered again and the screen disappeared again, but this time when I moved it by the hinge it returned briefly, then kind of had zigzag lines and then disappeared and never came back. And each time I open it now, the screen is totally blank.
Whatever help you can provide, I will greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
