Need help with Compaq drivers

I recently bought an off lease Compaq D500 desktop PC for my business. It didn't come with the driver disk. I really only need the onboard ethernet to work for internet purposes. I downloaded every availble driver for the D500 relating to ethernet adapter's.......none got rid of the yellow question mark in device manager.

Any ideas on what I can do?

Pretty sure its a driver prob.....details say something about lacking a driver. Would the chipset drivers do anything? I hate not having a driver disk.

You can always disable it and drop in a $15 pci ethernet card if you can't find what kind is inbuilt. Otherwise if you can pm me the serial # and product id # of your unit I can probably look up what kind of card you have on Monday. Good luck.
