Need help with Chemistry 1 Lab

Hi, I'm totally lost on this lab. Its asking us to give the empirical formula for this unknown salt based on the results of the weight of the unknow product.

i dont know what any of that is but....its giving me a headache.

people on atot are more likely to help with physics, EE ,Comp Sci ,and math . I remember chem and that class was terrible.

Yea ... last night (Read: Sunday Night) ... there were consistantly 20+ users online. 9,000 page views on Sunday, 6,000 on Saturday, and 6,000 today as well.

There is alot of life in this forum. Just not on a MONDAY night.

just find the molar mass of the compounds(salts) which are related to the molecular and thus the empirical formula.

its hard to help with this kind of stuff over the net...or atleast for me it is. I think its easier if someone shows you on paper and does an example for you.

that was the worst experience of my life. i needed 2 semesters of chem for a physics major and i barily forced myself to go to the exams in the class. i passed with a C both semesters i think. that was a horrid time in my life. :shudders:
