need help with case buttons and case LEDS

I'm building my own computer case, and so I have no power/reset button nor the status LEDs. I notice that both the power and reset button have two wires connecting to two pins on the mobo... could someone tell me how that works so I can build my own buttons (and wire correctly)?

Also how do the status LEDs work? I see 3 pins connected to the same LED on my old Pentium 2 HP computer.

Thanks!

Hi, Power and reset buttons should have come with the CASE. They are momentary contact push button switches. You should be able to find something at Radio Shack to do the job. The two leads can go to either of the Reset and Power connectors on the Mother Board. In other words, they are not polarized. Luck, Jim

P.S. Mother board has dropping resistors for the LEDs so all you need is LEDs from Radio Shack with two wires soldered on and two pin connectors. If they don't light just reverse the connector on the Mother Board. Jim
