Need help with Calc I

i am taking Calc I as a summer class and in my book it says that .99999... = 1.

this is nonsense am i the only one who realizes that there is a .00.....01 left over when you do 1 - .999...

garsh math makes me so angry

Wrong again. There are plenty of numbers between 6 and 7, like 6.1, 6.3582, 6.9281, and 6.87 just to name a few 🙂
