Need help with build - opinions and advice needed.

Seagate 250GB SATA II 16MB
2 GB 5300 Corsair Twin
USB2.0 Internal All-in-One Card Reader
Coolermaster Centurion 5 (460W PSU Included)
Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit

Extras
Logitech Media 600
Samsung SyncMaster 226bw (22")

PC will be used as an mainly as an entertainment center for Music, HDTV, Movies, Gaming and graphic design; it will also be used as a workstation for small tasks.

I'm sourcing and buying all parts from Australia.

I'll be running it at default speeds (Overclocking goes over my head).

Basically I'm new to the computer building scene, a friend of mine help me put this list together and we both agree that it looks ok.
I'm not so much looking for recommendations unless it's on the VGA, or advice for cooling with the VGA. What I REALLY need is to know if these components will be compatible, I'd hate order them all and find that the VGA doesn't work with the mobo or something...

So anyone who is a computer legend, help?

Also, I've read so many reviews and seen so many videos of people complaining about how loud their 8800GT is, it's because of that, that I can't decide whether or not to get the 8600GT or the 8800GT
