Need help with BIOS password

got a junk pc from work that has a bios password that i don't know. need help getting rid of it. i've taken out the battery. how long does it take to reset and/or does it reset?

Give it time, it will clear. A lot of mobos have a set of pins or where pins might be on the mobo for clearing it immediately after removing the battery. If you don't see that then just wait a few minutes and try. If it doesn't clear quickly, then wait an hour and try again............etc., until it clears.
