I have to do a research paper on BI-Polar and have to interview a person with the condition. My wifes brother has agreed to be that person.

Could my fellow ATOT'ers help me and suggest some questions to ask him.

Hmmmm, tough one. Definitely DON'T ask anything that will piss him off ;).

1. Ask about his condition and exactly what it entails.
2. Ask about how his condition has affected his life in different stages, i.e. childhood, teen years, adulthood.
3. Does it prevent him from participating in normal activities, i.e. school, socializing, working.
4. How does his conditions affect his emotions?

Good luck with the paper, bipolar disease is definitely one of the more interesting (for what that's worth).

If he doesn't mind talking about it, you could ask what types of treatments he's had, and which have worked best for him. Could also ask basic questions such as when he was first diagnosed, what made him eventually seek professional advice, when he first thought something might be "not quite right", and what he's had to do to adjust to living with the condition.
