Need help with BH6 and memory probs!

I recently bought a Mushkin PC100 128mb stick, and could
not get it to work with my board. Tried taking out
my old mem and using only the 128, in every slot.
It would not work at all. So since I didn't have
the time to mess with it anymore, I put my old
chip back in. Now it won't even work with that!

So my question is, are my memory slots basically
fried? The MB itself is fine, because the fans
will start up, even the one on my video card (fan
is powered by the card itself). Or could something
have happened with my AGP vid card, and thats whats
causing the long annoying, bad memory beeps?

thanks

This is a guess: In the process of changing DIMMs, you have unseated some card or connector, or you just never got a DIMM properly inserted. Them be common things, and common things are common. I suppose it is remotely possible that something on your mobo got zapped by static discharge, and also remotely possible that you cracked some essential trace, or that the little screw you couldn't find after the last time you were inside the case is now shorting out your mobo.
My guess is that you're going to find the problem and then feel a little foolish about it.

sounds like your mobo is ok if lights and fans work, as Homer suggested, u sure that vid card is in tight? can cause those beep patterns
