I have installed the Personal Edition of BeOS on my pc and when i try to boot into Be the loading screen comes up and the OS loads alright my monitor then goes into Suspend mode and I hear the Start wave and the monitor goes sleep(power saving mode).
The same thing happens with my Linux Mandrake 7.1. I see the text loading screens and when it tries to go into the gui the monitor goes into suspend then sleep. When i installed linux i made sure i had the right monitor picked cause i don't want to buy a new one, so that isn't the problem.
I have a ATI Rage 128 for a video card if that helps any.
