Need help with ATI TV/Scheduler

On my Radeon 8500DV I use the Gemstar guide to record shows which basically just tells ATI scheduler to run the tv app at a certain time and record, right? Anyway when it's done recording it leaves the tv app running, is there a way to have the tv app close after recording? I can't find the scheduler program to check for options, it seems to only be a windows service. But is it configurable?
