Need help with ATI Radeon All in Wonder 8500 DV

I installed this video card and installed the latest drivers from the ATI website. I can't seem to play a game even with out experiencing what seems like a time delay between the audio and the video. The cursor moves in slow motion. I thought maybe I had to reformat so I did that too.

System is:
XP2200
Asus A7V8x-X
512mb pc3200 DDR
ati radeon all in wonder
sony dru 510
lite on dvd/cdrw combo

It is always important you followed proper driver install order...

Load WDM capture drivers (no reboot)
Load Display Drivers (reboot)

Load Control Panel (reboot)
Load MMC 8.1 (reboot)

Make sure for MMC 8.1 you have loaded cas 3.8 or greater and have DX 9.0 installed....

I removed the drivers and reinstalled them in the order you described. Do I need to reformat again?

If you remove them properly then, NO....

ATI drivers are much better on that now.....

The big thing is to make sure all the drivers are the same subset...Look at the date and make sure they all match or are the latest of each....


Make sure you mobo chipset and agp drivers are up to date as well...
