How do I adjust the driver for my ATI 9800 Pro to display 1280x960 with a small black border? I don't want the image interpolated on my LCD, and Star Wars KOTOR only has support for 1280x960. Where is the setting in the driver applet?

EDIT: I should note that this is an NEC 1760V connected by VGA dsub, not dvi.

Think it's -

Display Properties --> Settings Tab --> Advanced --> Displays Tab --> FPD and turn off "Scale Image to panel size. ;)

Because my monitor is hooked up through a VGA connector and not a DVI, it shows up as "Monitor" in the Displays tab, not "FPD."

So I either need a totally different solution, or a way to get the driver to recognize my monitor as a Flat Panel Display (FPD).

Does your monitor osd have any option to keep image size or stretch it? My samsung has one accesible only when the resolution isn't native.

Without panel support, yer fooked. Shoulda got the NX for DVI. A given game may be forceable to a 1280x1024 (5:4) resolution with some manual editing of config files or shortcut so at least the VPU will do the stretching and result in a better IQ (Distort-O-Vision aside) compared to the FPD doing same, although perhaps at a detriment to performance.

If you guys think it would solve the problem, I could just get a belkin dvi>analog to trick the vid card into seeing the monitor as a flat panel...

But that enables it in the FPD options... But FPD is greyed out for me because my monitor is connected w/ analog!
