Need help with AT power supply replacement...

I have an old pentium acer and the computer recently just die on me.
and i found out it's the power supply. The old power supply is 250 watts.
and my question is if possible for me to change my old power supply (250 watt) with only 145 watt power supply?

As long as the power supply fits the case you shouldn't have a physical problem. The main consideration would be the amount of power itself. The power supply has to power any expansion devices plugged into slots, plus any internal drives like hd, cd, etc. If you have a lot of devices you might not have enough power with the smaller ps.
