Need Help With Asus A7v33 board

hi...i got an A7v333 board with an xp 1900 cpu and 256 meg of ddr 2100 ram....i installed everything just like the manual says and i did it jupmerless...when i boots up in bios i select 1600 for cpu speed and leave everything else on auto...now it runs fine for about 30 seconds..i got into the power management and check the cpu temperature and the voltage and all of a sudden the voltage jumps from 1.8 to 4.3 and the cpu rises...then i freezes..now the thing is i didnt overclock this at all..everything is at factory defauly and all i did was select the cpu speed for 1600 which is what my xp 1900 is...i need help ..i dont know what to do..
