Given the signal, v(t) = 3.0cos(2pi100t) + 0.3cos(2pi300t) volts + NOISE, calculate the total signal power (of the actual signal excluding noise) in dB.

I've been working on this problem for awhile with no luck. can anyone explain how to get the answer? Thanks in advance!

well don't you need to know either a current or a resistance somewhere to get the power? then I'm pretty sure you just take the coefficients of the cosine terms, since those are the max amplitudes. i dunno, it sounds like you're missing some information.
