Hi guys,

I recently downloaded this XP theme called C10k
C10k

Now the readme file said to unzip the C10k folder into the C:Windows\Resources\Themes\C10k

Which I did. Now when I go into the display properties to try and select the C10k I find that there is no C10k.theme file for me to select. All I see is Luna.theme and WindowsClassic.theme but I do not see any C10k.theme

Can anyone help me out??

thanks

I believe that you need to hack the Windows XP theme handling dll file. Go to this page for more info.

Ok I tried that, but the main problem is that this theme is missing a .Theme file which windows looks for to use. This thing should work though because numerous other people have this one. Any ideas?

Doh!

It's not a theme. It's a visual style (therefore, you won't find it as a theme). Go to display properties/appearance tab & you should be able to select it.
