Subtle, but still kinda WTF when you get to the end if you are familiar with the movie.

Over two hours, all one shot from a first person perspective (which seems REALLY weird, when we're used to normal movie editing), all in Russian and makes not one lick of sense unless you are incredibly well versed in Russian history and historical political figures. It is very WTF.

Movie starts.

Soppy love music starts playing, then a voice like the voiceover guy from romantic film trailers says *insert room mates GFs name here* you are the love of my life, will you make me the happiest man alive and be my wife. I can't be without you........... etc etc.

P.s if you do this I want a video of his face when it happens.

My suggestion:

Combine two clips together, fix it to where the speakers go very loud.

Get the clip that starts out on a grassy knoll with a car coming down the road, and then a scary looking woman pops up and screams.

Edit rick roll after the scare, and it's golden.

One time, while intoxicated, a bunch of friends and I decided to watch "Spy Kids" on Netflix. We still talk about it to this day.

Do you have any female friends that look like her from a side profile/behind? Ask them if they don't mind simulating sex with you from an angle that looks like your roomie's GF and you can still see their face. This will buy you enough time as he freaks out, and then have the girl turn around and be like, fooled ya!

Takes a little work, but he will freak for a short amount of time.

As for your prank - put together a picture montage of them together and then title it with 'Will you marry me?' and put your roomates name on it. Even better if you have any movie clips of them together

You could go the full love-y dovey romantic route or just make it really really bad and poorly thought out

Alternate: Pictures of you and his GF together titled/voiced over "(insert roomates name here, we didn't know how to tell you in person but I gave syphilus to your GF and she might have given it to you. You need to get tested"
