ok, i can't figure this one out. I have a uniden cordless phone w/ caller id (this is the little white one you get at walmart for $20.00). it worked fine with the caller id until i purchased another cordess phone, a bell phone by northwestern bell phones. (black office depot special). the black phone registered caller id perfectly, but the phone isn't as loud and the numbers have worn off. when i hooked up the black phone, the white one stopped registering the caller id. the dish network still registered it though. Now, i'm not using the black phone and the white one still will not register the caller id. the dish network still registers the caller id.
can someone give me any clue as to why the white phone isn't registering caller id?
