I have a user that has a problem i have not run across yet in my days.
When they go to try and open a .jpeg file it gives an error.
This is the email that i got:

"Could someone tell me why when I tried to open a Jpeg file I got a window that is asking "select a flow to execute."??

any and all advice is great. thanks

Hi, Not the error I expected but, some cameras add some specs to the JPG that is evidently not to the JPG spec. Some graphics programs wont load them. One that will usually dumps the junk when you resave it. There are free downloads that will clean them out. The one I use is called JPG Cleaner. Hope this helps a bit, Jim

I'm taking a wild guess here, and it probably won't solve your problem, but I'd make sure that the temporary "patch" for the WMF Exploit has been undone on the computer.

At the "Run" prompt:
regsvr32 %windir%\system32\shimgvw.dll

It won't hurt to run this command. It'll just re-register the built-in XP picture viewer.
