Need help with a intel vs amd thingy

There are two systems I am looking at.
an intel system with the springdale chipset (not sure which board) a 2.4b proc and 512 of kingston hyperx ram

or

an epox 8RDA+ with a barton 2500 and 512 of kingston hyperx ram

im really just a gamer, I dont like to tweak and overclock, but I am not sure whether or not I would really be better off with the intel system. I have heard that the intel is much more stable, but its is 70 dollars more stable?
