I ordered 2 MS flight sim 2004s on 11/27/03,was supposed to include 2 free MS feedback joysticks as a promotion.
Recieved the 2 Flight sims but no joysticks, bestbuy never called me back after i called and complained.
Does anyone have a copy or printout of the 11/27/03 promotion?

VaG maybe you should have read it yourself before posting.

"We all know there are dishonest dealers on the Internet. We also know that, at one time or another, everyone makes honest mistakes. Legitimate Hot Deals are Hot. Dishonest, deceptive and fraudulant offers and practices are NOT.

If a company has acted dishonestly or fraudulantly, threads discussing legal ways to enforce your rights are a valid and important topic for discussion.

If a company posts a deal and then cancels it for reasons such as a pricing error, before you scream for blood or go looking for a lawyer, consider the circumstances:
Did the original ad contain enough information to show that the company knew (or should have known) the true value of the items offered and the amount of the discount they were offering?

Did the company announce the cancelation in a timely manner?

Did the company offer any reasonable compensation (discount, gift certificate, etc.) to those who were legitimately inconvenienced by their actions?

Does the company have a documented history of "bait-and-switch" or other questionable tactics?
If, after considering these questions, you believe a company has acted dishonestly or fraudulantly, we welcome threads discussing your rights and legal ways to enforce them. Please remember:
Uninformed rants and misinformation accomplish nothing.

Calls for illegal acts of retaliation can only lead to trouble. Those who engage in such acts may lose any rights they had and end up with legal problems of their own.

If a bunch of greedy people actually manage to hurt a good company, it will only ruin future good deals for everyone.
Try to keep all posts about a given problem in one thread. If you start a consumer action thread, you get to maintain it. If the thread gets too long, start a continuation thread, and post links from old thread to the new one and from the new thread back to the old one."

yep,i'm looking for the proof of the deal because bestbuy was supposed to call me and never did.
and their phone monkeys can't do anything about it because it went to the next level.
i'm looking to file a BBB complaint if they don't call soon,so i would need the proof of the deal.
maybe even small claims court so they can send one of their lawyers over to defend or not show up and i win :D

Please, he wants a copy/printout of an ad and wants to take bestbuy to court over a couple of joysticks. Who's the joystick?

LOL!

So far, this guy is the only one that got on this deal? If you don't get the deal or whatever, return the 2 software titles then.

Those quoted rules (if you read the whole thing) seem to apply to a bunch of people getting ripped off by one company, not ONE person who has a gripe with their ONE order. Those rules say that "If a company has acted dishonestly or fraudulantly, threads discussing legal ways to enforce your rights are a valid and important topic for discussion." This hardly rises to that level. It does, however, fall exactly into the qualifications for Brag & Moan "This thread is for posting your off topic raves and rants, such as 'X-company did this to me'', and 'Did you get?, I got mine.' "

Just so you go away here it is. Next time do us and yourself a favor by doing a 2 second google search.

"Offer will be reflected in your cart when both items are selected and put in your cart. If you remove any of the qualifying items from your cart or cancel all or part of your order, you will not receive the promotional offer. Best Buy's Return Policy on free items applies to this promotion. Offer available online only for one day only."

Let me guess. You didn't put the joysticks in your cart and just expected them to automatically come free with flight sim because if you would have they would have shown as free on your order/receipt and you would have proof.

Stop being a trolling idiot VaG. You can't even link properly.

LennyZ: I didn't see that promotion but try posting it in the original thread. Maybe someone there might have kept a copy. Good luck!

VaG,you might want to read the rules, thread crapping is not appreciated here.
unless you want a vacation from the mods.and your link is useless,it says i need to accept cookies and i already have it set to do so.
not that it would matter because it isn't going to show me the ad from the promotion because it was in nov.
and they were in the cart, but they didn't ship them.go away!

Pothead, why would i return the software when this was a legit deal for microsoft feedback joysticks?
they are screwing me over what they promised and i want them.

Allisolm, where does it say more than one person had to get screwed.

Don't you people have a life outside of crapping in people's threads?
Don't post unless you have what i am asking for.

Then I'll do all the work for you. Go here. Click on the link that says "Buy Microsoft flight Simulator 2004: A Century of flight PC title and get Microsoft Side Winder Force Feedback Joystick FREE." Works for me.

Do you have a firewall that blocks cookies? I have zonealarm and bestbuy site always gave me that page. I had to enable it on my fireware. BTW, you need to close your windows and reclick to the links for it to take after you enable cookies.
