Need help with a Bridge

I have an older Sony 52" Bravia LCD TV (about three years old). It has internet capability but needs either a hard connection or a bridge. There is no option for a wifi dongle and I don't want to run an Ethernet cable to the TV.

Maybe a bridge is just a fancy name for something else but I'm completely unfamiliar with bridges. I'm looking for advice for an inexpensive bridge to link my router to my TV and advice on how to get it properly configured.

Bridges aren't normally cheap. Your best bang for the $$$ is to get a refurbished NetGear WNDR3400 and flash it with DD-WRT. Set it to bridge mode.
