okay, so, I read, read read, and then read some more, and bought the following components:
Radeon 9700 Pro
Key Digital VGA to Component output converter
Now, I'm running XP, Cat 3.1, Powerstrip 3 (Shareware version), and trying to output to my Sony 65" widescreen (16.9) hdtv...but I can't anything to work.
I've tried some of the custom timings that someone had linked to from a Home Theater forum, but they didn't work (probably because they were for a 9500)
I've tried the default resolutions and timings within powerstrip, but nothing.
Does anyone have any experience with the Key Digital converter and outputting to a 16:9 HDTV rear projection? What resolutions worked for you?
