Hey all,

got my 6800LE and i have artifacts flashing all over....i have it OC'd to 350...but they were there at 325 aswell. this was in Farcry with all low settings...

Anyone have anyideas how to fix this? i also have it pluged into the middle DVI slot using the VGA-DVI adapter (someone said the middle one was better)

gonna try a couple othergames and see if it is still there...i also noticed the 2D quality was worse.

Yeah... bring it back to its default clock. :\

And disable the pipelines and vertex processors you unlocked with RivaTuner.

If its like the cards the rest of us have gotten then it comes with all the pipes and VS's already unlocked

A 6800 LE? IIRC, they come with only 8 enabled piplines and 4 or 5 vertex processors enabled. 128 DDR.

Im just assuming he's refering to the evga limited edition 6800's that sold like hotcakes off of newegg. Basically a ultra with 325 core. I'm sure you'
ve noticed the massive thread about them. :)

Ahh, so these would be the cards that could not survive 6800 Ultra speeds, so they clock it at non Ultra speeds? Got it.

read on the main thread that some one was having sililar problems, he fixed it by flashing the bios to ultra...so i tried..i think it worked...

Also saw someone say to make sure vid card was hooked to direct power..it wasnt, but it is now...still having same problem

how do i make sure the bios flash worked? i used thugs bios, so the clock speeds dont change, and all i see is 6800, no LE, GT or ultra...

Ok, problem solved! artifacts gone, and i now own a 6800 ultra 425/1100!

seems that the bios i was trying to use (thugs of the main thread) wernt flashing, so i DL'd the 6800 ultra bios, flashed them, and all the problems i was having are gone!

still need to stress test it and make sure it is stable...but it looks really good so far!
