I've had many friends and family members with this same problem call me this week with this problem and when it comes to wireless I'm a novice. If this post is already covered I apologize. I searched and couldn't find an exact same situation.
Their wireless networks and internet connections were working perfectly and then randomly stopped working. I have it pin pointed to the wireless card and the computer settings. Tried uninstalling drivers and reinstalling, but it didn't fix anything. All the systems wireless monitors say they are connected and everything. The computer receives the IP address but does not see the internet or network. I know the Wireless router works because there are desktops plugged directly into the router and another laptop that works wirelessly to it.
The only thing that has worked for 1 person so far is to do a system restore, but that has not helped some of these people either.
