I've been having some problems with windshield wiper/washer system lately.

1999 Honda Accord Coupe V6

1. Wipers are slow on all settings and do not go the full arc length.

I installed new wipers (michelin brand, same size/brand as previous ones) because old ones were streaky. After installing the new wipers, the wiper arms do not move as fast anymore. With the old wipers, the arms moved normally.

Even on the fastest setting, it moves slowly. During the wiping arc, it does not go to the far edge of the windshield (off by about 3 inches) and when I turn it off, it does not rest at the lowest position (again, off by about 3 inches). Same thing happens when I use the washer sprayer mode.

My car also has an option where I can just hold down the wiper toggle and only by doing so will the wiper blades move quickly and the full arc length.

I checked to make sure all nuts/bolts of the arms are fastened tightly and they are. Is it a motor issue? I do not have the old wipers anymore otherwise I'd test those out again.

2. Sprayer doesn't spray more than a couple inches on driver's side and over shoots some on the passenger side.

Things I've tried:

• Blow air canister down through the driver side tube
• Blow water down through the driver side tube
• Used a pin to poke through the holes of the sprayer

Nothing has worked. What else can I do to try to make the sprayers work correctly?

I appreciate any help.

Bump, hopefully someone can chime in with something :)

Otherwise I'll probably just ask a technician when I get an oil change soon.
