I'm using a USB keyboard now. If I switch back to a PS2 then the error goes away. So I pretty much know what casues the error (the system keep trying to find the PS2 keyboard). Now my question is: is there anyway I can disable the PS2 keyboard in Win2K? I can't do it in BIOS.

My guess may be wrong, any other idea?

Edit: here is Microsoft's solution

Message:
Exceeded the allowable number of retries (configurable via the registry) on device parameter.

User Action:
If the keyboard is behaving normally, no action is needed. To avoid this message, try increasing the value of ResendInterations in the Registry key Current Control Set\\Services\\i804prt\\parameters. Or, try using a different keyboard😕.
