Need help w/ speaker connection

the speaker wire is 4 pin but only 2 are being used(data,nc,nc,ground). One red wire and one black(ground). However on my mobo instructions it has the speaker as having 3 wires(speaker data,nc,ground,speaker power). How should I set this up? thanks
 
Hi, The unused pins are to hook up an amplifier. The two outer pins are the correct ones for direct connection to a speaker. Jim
