Need help w/ movie Title

So I'm watching "The Omen (2006)" and the evil boy Damien (played by Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick) and could swear he was in a different movie, similar evil role. After googling, I realize the kid actor only did this movie (evil role).

The other movie in question is:

Evil kid causes people around him to do bad things
Somehow isn't able to harm mother
Mother finds out her son is evil, hires hitman to take care of him
Hitman refuses when he discovers the target is a child
Mother shoots herself in the head to prove she's not crazy & that her son is the devil
Forgot the ending but I know the boy doesn't die and continues on

Does the movie title ring a bell?

I did... the thing is... the child actor does not star in movie in question.

I'm not sure but I'm going to go ahead and recommend that you watch Space Mutiny.

Space Mutiny looks about as bad as "The Chill" or Chill or whatever that was at the Redbox....
