I just purchased a linksys access port (AP) and a linksys wireless pc card. I installed both and installed the appropriate drivers and configured both to what the manual stated. I currently have the pc card communicating to the AP so that part went well.
The problem is when I try to access files on the network with the laptop. The laptop cannot see my network so it cannot access any files. I have a home network w/ a server and laptop. I have the server and AP plugged into a hub. I can ping the AP from the server, but cannot ping the laptop.
I have the server set to 192.168.0.1 & running win2k
I have the AP set to 192.168.0.250
I have the pc card set to 192.168.0.80 & running win98se
Is there some kind of configuration in networking properties I am missing? Any help would be appreciated.
