Need help W/Abit KT7, and 4in1 drivers

I just assembled an Abit KT7 w/Duron 600mhz processor, running Win98SE. When I try to load the VIA 4in1 drivers, I get the message"Registry error!Please reboot computer". I tried downloading the latest 4in1 form the VIA site, but still get the same message. I am using 128meg Kingston PC133, Leadtek GeForce SDRAM, Diamond Monster MX300, Enermax 350watt PS, Adaptec 2940UW w/Seagate 9.1gig Cheetah 10,000rpm HD, and Plextor 32x cdrom. Any suggestions?

Try a clean install of OS,then install Via 4 in 1 drivers first before other drivers like video card etc.

Mem is right.

4in1's must be the first ones in after Windoze finishes installing.
