Need Help - Vista bluescreens

obsessor

Junior Member
My system:
corsair 620watt PSU
GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3P Rev 2.0 motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 Conroe 2.66GHz
Crucial Ballistix DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 - 4gb worth 4x1gb
Western Digital Caviar 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive
XFX Geforce 8800 GTS 640mb
Windows Vista 64bit Ultimate

I keep getting bluescreens stating the following.
bad_pool_caller
irql_not_less_or_equal

So far this only occurs when i am playing Team Fortress 2, sometimes i will go all day with out this happening, then others it will happen 2-3 times back to back. I have tried updating my chipset drivers, audio drivers, graphics drivers, but nothing has helped. I am starting to wonder if my PSU has enough juice to support my graphics card. I would think so but im not certain.

I supposed i could disable my audio and see if that helps anything, and if so just purchase a new soundcard. However please still post suggestions if you have any.

Thanks again.

good and bad news i guess. I disabled my audio and still got the bluescreen while in TF2.

RTLH86.SYS is a 32bit Realtek onboard LAN driver.

You are going to need the 64bit driver, then uninstall the 32bit driver from the device manager and install the correct driver.

Thanks, thats what i was thinking, however i dont think they exist yet. which i suppose isnt as bad of news as i was starting to think.

Actually it looks like they do, but i thought i installed this already. doing a uninstall/reinstall none the less. Thanks for your help.

Negative. just got the bluescreen again. I was unable to get the error when i had my audio disabled. so im not sure... grrr
