My pc spec is in my signature. The only thing I have upgraded was the heatsink/fan. I went to watercooling (tribe thermaltake)because I could not keep the temperature of the processor under control with the Zalman, mainly because of dust build up over time and it was too hard to clean.
Now I have $600. I want to get the 8800 gts. Which will include getting a new mobo, that also takes ddr1 memory and the p4 processor (sockett 775).
What is the chance I will be happy with such setup and actualy be able to find a mobo that supports ddr1, pci-e, socket 775 p4 570?
Is the processor so out of date that the system will not run any faster than with the x850?
