I?d like to explore upgrading my pc. But do I need to? You can see from my sig what I?ve had for about 3-1/2 years now.
I don?t do much gaming right now. I loved HL2 and Doom 3 but since then nothing has caught my eye. But if the next installment of either came out, I?d be all over it. Also, if anyone wants to recommend a game, go ahead.
Right now, I like to download tv shows and videos and watch them, usually multiple times. I also always am listening to tunes while I surf the net, which is my other computer pastime.
My nvidia Nforce control panel crapped out quite a while ago so I no longer can hear all my speaker or adjust the levels.
Anyway, I love to hear some recommendations. I would be willing to spend about $400 to upgrade. I don?t really have any complaints with my present system, other than the Nforce thing, but I?m sure I could improve my experience. Video card prices have come down. Monitors have come down.
