Need help upgrading firmware on Netgear RT314 router!

Does know how long it takes to upload the *.bin file to upgrade the firmware on the netgear rt314 router VIA the web based browser
->maintence->upgrade function?

I clicked "upload" and IE just said, "web site found, waiting for reply" and nothing happened. i didn't get a some sort of confirmation screen. Plus when i checked the version of the firmware, it was still the same version, like nothing happened.....

any tips?

Do I need to upload BOTH the bin and rom files? I initally have just tried uploading the BIN file.

did u read the pdf that is included when u downloaded the bin
obtw the rom is not supposed to be used unless your router is screwed up
