Need help updating radeon 9200 mobility driver

I have a Acer aspire 2001 notbook with a 9200 radeon graphics and i want to update it due to a game not running correctly.
As im more a Nvidia person myself, ati is a new one for me.
Ive heard I need my manufactures drivers from their website (acer)
Well thats what ati says on their web.

But acer only have old drivers 8 months old
So I nead some directions please, must be universal drivers out there?

I used it to install the latest drivers on my AOpen 1557. Works fine but I don't see any settings for that powernow thingy.

you can also use the omega drivers (modified cats, add some features, change some settings, and work with mobiles)

No I didnt see any settings for power management thing

I always use the Omegas with my notebook. The creator of the Omega's is in ATI's Beta Catalyst testing group.
