I want to upgrade (read: replace) my old ibm pII-300 with the minimum (cheapest) necessary to play some games like half-life and diablo 2. I figure I'll need at the very minimum to replace mobo, cpu, video card. Any mobo's with built in video that is "good enough"?. I would also like to be able to use my existing sdram dimm's. I'm not real picky, the old rig played half-life good enough with onboard ati rage video but won't play diablo2. No preference between intel/amd just the cheapest. I guess that means amd.

Hi
My kid have an ibm-300 just as you, but the rig also include an old vodoo-2 card.
He plays diablo2 and nhl 2000 with no problem.
So, as I see it you only have to uppgrade your videocard (GF2 mx PCI ?, you have no agp slot).
If you think of an uppgrade, you have to replace the Power unit(AT to ATX), Motherboard, Cpu
videocard, soundcard etc $$$

Good luck
